We know that COVID-19 is disrupting Diversity & Inclusion events, threatening the momentum of D&I strategies, and interrupting the work of D&I councils and committees. This is piling on the anxiety for everyone involved.

Here's a way for people to stay connected, collaboratively learning and building the value that D&I creates for organizations.

Kick off a virtual reading circle with our new book INdivisible: www.indivisible-book.com

INdivisible shows how organizations can bridge the gap between the promise and practice of inclusion. Challenging today’s piecemeal approaches, it provides a comprehensive framework to achieve visible impact for business, society, and sustainability. And it shows how everyone – senior leaders, middle managers and individuals – must play a part, for the success of organizations and for the sake of our world. INdivisible is available on Amazon and can be acquired as an ebook or a paperback delivered at home.

Here are 3 ways INdivisible reading circles can work:

  1. Invite everyone in your organization to read INdivisible. Host a couple of virtual meetings to discuss mind-shifting ideas, practical actions for individuals at all levels, and transformational strategies to make the most of inclusion for sustainable business results. Consider including a virtual discussion with us, the co-authors, Alison Maitland and Rebekah Steele.

  2. Send INdivisible to everyone impacted by a cancelled event. Encourage leaders and members of Business/ Employee Resource Groups throughout the organization to read INdivisible. Follow up with a virtual meeting to translate insights into actions.

  3. Encourage small groups of leaders and employees to read a couple of chapters of INdivisible at a time. Using virtual technology, these groups regularly meet to discuss top insights and how to put them into action in their work right away. Include key external partners – contractors, suppliers, customers – in your discussions.

You can also design your own approach, or contact us to co-create a distinctive opportunity to make the positive impact you are looking for with inclusion.
